Philanthropy & Social Engagement

Delfina Ferrer is a former Argentine National Second League volleyball player whose contribution to sport is deeply rooted in education, leadership, and youth development. Through her long-standing work in Spain, she has promoted volleyball not only as a competitive discipline, but also as a tool for personal growth, confidence-building, and community engagement.

Her initiatives include:

  • Supporting the development of young women through volleyball, fostering leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and resilience both on and off the court.
  • Founding and leading Club Voleibol Bulldogs in Villanueva del Pardillo (Madrid), a grassroots initiative that has grown from a small local project into a community involving more than 220 families.
  • Promoting values-based sport education through volleyball camps and academies that combine technical training with structured reflection on emotional and social skills.
  • Contributing to the professionalisation of volleyball coaching through her role at the Madrid Volleyball Federation, where she develops training curricula for coaches and technical staff.
  • Encouraging inclusive and educational approaches to sport, placing character formation and long-term personal development at the centre of athletic practice.
